Dancer and choreographer Sara Soumah explores what it means to resist as an individual when basic values regarding equality and human rights are violated, when fear and suspicion spread and get under the skin of society. Driven by a deep-rooted feeling that ‘I must act’. Gathering courage. Getting overwhelmed by the insight that it is a commitment against Goliath but still maintaining an indomitable faith that we can do better. No more silence.

Rhythm, inner listening and the body's inherent traces are founding materials in Sara’s work. Educated at the Swedish Ballet School, the University of the Arts (SE) and Ballet Matam (GN). Sara is a founding member of the liveartgroup MELO Collective (SE) and has also worked with companies/choreographers like Per Jonsson Dance Company, Byteaterns Dans Ensemble and Destiny af Kleen to mention a few.
